In the Czech Republic completely banned smoking in restaurants and bars

Since May 31, the law on the complete ban on smoking in all public catering establishments, public transport stops, schools, hospitals, exhibition halls, theaters and cinemas, stadiums and playgrounds began to operate in the Czech Republic. At the airports, smoking is allowed in specially designated rooms.

The ban also applies to hookahs and electronic cigarettes – while they can only be smoked in restaurants and bars, it is prohibited – in other public places.

The fine for smoking in a public place is 5 thousand kroons (189 euros) for the offender and up to 50 thousand kroons (1,890 euros) – for the institution in which they lit up.
