Prague will host Pork Festival

First National Pork Vepřobraní Food Festival celebration will be held in the Czech Republic on 11 March. Visitors to the festival in Prague will try every possible traditional pork dishes – pork knee from the Czech and Spanish jamon mangalica to Hungarian and Italian prosciutto, as well as innovative specialties.

Festival will unfold on the banks of the Vltava River in Prague’s Smíchov district. The curious will be able to see the slaughter of pigs, as well as to monitor the entire process of preparation of pork dishes. Guests of the festival will offer smoked, baked, braised pork, as well as Czech beer, cider and mulled wine.
