In the all-season resort “Elbrus”, located in Kabardino-Balkaria, on the highest mountain in Europe, the season of skiing and snowboarding is still going on. Due to the presence of sufficient snow cover, a ski slope runs from the station “Gara-Bashi” to the station “Mir”.
This year, the ski season on Elbrus has become a record long. It started in mid-November, almost a month earlier than usual, and will continue at least until the end of June, the press office of the Resort of the North Caucasus. The ability to ski in the summer provides the highest in Europe ski area, starting at an altitude of 3847 meters from the station of the third turn of the cable car, built here in 2015.
