June 16 US-based Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, together with China’s Shanghai Shendi Group inaugurated in Shanghai, the first in mainland China and the world’s sixth Disney amusement park. Its construction cost of 5.16 billion US dollars and took five years.
Entertainment zone covers an area of 390 hectares in the Pudong district, which housed the park Shanghai Disneyland, two hotels, a shopping area and Disneytown park for fans of quiet rest Wishing Star Park.
Disneyland is divided into six parts – Island Adventures, Fantasy Gardens (the central part of the park is seven gardens in the Chinese style, with animals zodiac Chinese calendar and popular heroes of Disney cartoons), Prospect Mickey, where visitors will be able to hug and take a picture with your favorite Disney characters , the country’s future, and the Cave of Treasures in Fantasyland. In the center is the Sleeping Beauty Castle – the highest of all the Disney castles. The opening of the Shanghai Disneyland will last three days, all tickets are already sold out. Their cost for adults – 499 yuan ($ 75) for one day and 950 yuan (US $ 144) for a two-day, for the children, respectively, 375 yuan ($ 56) and 710 yuan ($ 107).
