February 4 famous Czech castle Karlstejn will reopen to tourists after the winter break. At the end of winter it will be available to visit only on weekends, and from March will begin to receive visitors every day except Mondays.

Karlstejn Castle is located 28 kilometers southwest of Prague. His visit comes in many tourist programs. The castle was founded in 1348 on a 72-meter cliff above the river Berounka, however, the construction rebuilt many times in its history.

To get to the castle easiest train station to the Prague Smíchov (Smichovske nadrazi, metro station of the same name), departing every hour. Travel time – no more than 35 minutes.
