In Rome, again begins the action “The moon in the Coliseum” (La luna sul Colosseo) – before the end of the year, everyone can after a sunset visit the dungeons, galleries and arches of the Colosseum – one of the main historical monuments of the world and a tourist symbol of the Italian capital.
75-minute excursions are conducted in English, Italian and Spanish. In March and December, the evening tours of the Coliseum are planned only on saturdays, on April, May and October, they will be held every day except tuesdays and sundays, from June to September will be daily, in November they will be available in fridays and saturdays.
The excursion starts from the arena, from where you can see the depth of the underground galleries, then passes through the spectacularly lit arches located inside the monument. Tourists will be shown underground spaces, where gladiators and wild animals was await the entrance to the arena. The cost of the tour is 20 euros per person.
