In Rome, opened a museum of Leonardo da Vinci

Next to the Basilica of St. Peter in Rome opened a new museum dedicated to one of the most famous Italians in history – Leonardo da Vinci. On display are reproductions of famous paintings by the artist, as well as machinery, invented them.

Leonardo da Vinci Experience Museum has prepared for visitors to present a multimedia journey through history, with audio and video tour, and holograms. Covering an area of ​​500 square meters presents about fifty working models of machines and mechanisms, designed by Leonardo. Visitors will see a tank, a ball bearing, a mirror room, catapult, floats for walking on water, pointed bullet, projector and more. Also in the museum are 23 copies of the pictures in full size, codes, manuscripts and sketches of fantastic inventions.

The museum is open daily from 9:00 to 19:00. Ticket price – 12 euros for adults and 10 euros for children aged 5 to 15 years.
