A new landmark has appeared on the shores of Lake Baikal – the composition of ice area of over 800 square meters. “Icy Wonders library” consists of 420 open books, on the icy surface of which knocked out the inscription – the wishes and dreams of people from different countries on the Russian, Chinese, English, French, German and Buryat. To create a maze of books sculptors it took more than two weeks.
The height of each book – 3 meters, weight – almost 500 kilograms. To find out the dream of the people, all visitors can ski resort “Sable Mountain” in Baikalsk. “Ice Library” is open even at night – beautifully illuminated books.
The project was implemented within the framework of the festival of winter games. “Ice Wonderland library” plan to build each year.
